A recent sting operation proves child pedophiles come from all walks of life. This past week in New Jersey, 24 men were arrested as they tried to get kids and teens to meet them for sex using popular games like Fort Night Minecraft and Roadblocks.

The men used the games chat to make friends with the kids and then lure them into a house. Among those arrested, there was a nurse, a firefighter, a security guard, and even a police sergeant.

No software fix is a replacement for good parenting. Know what the kids do when they play. Disable the game’s chat.

Teach your kids about Internet predators. Tell the kids to tell you when something happens that makes them feel “uncomfortable” and use that word.
